Lavendon Village Hall Public AGM

Lavendon Village Hall Management Committee welcomes members of the public to its AGM at 7.30 pm on Thursday 26th November 2015 in the village hall. 

The meeting will include the Chairman’s, Treasurer’s and Project Manager’s Reports for the past year, with the latter report concerning progress on the current village hall refurbishment programme, Project Diamond.

During the meeting, elections will be held to fill six places on the Committee which are open to local residents, (in addition to those held by local village organisations). Although a proposer and seconder is preferred, any resident willing to help the work of the committee is welcome to put themselves forward on the day.

Lavendon Crafting News

The Lavendon Crafty Ladies are running a trip to the Summer Crafting event at Doncaster Racecourse on Sunday 12 July. This event includes papercrafting, sewing and quilting with exhibitors such as Pinflair, Anna Marie, Tattered Lace, Linen & Lace and many more to enable you to purchase your crafting needs under one roof whether you are a beginner or an experienced crafter. Well known guests will include Stephanie Weightman, Debbi Moore, Nancy Watt and many others. There will also be regular FREE Make & Take sessions hosted by the crafty celebrities.

We will pick up in Olney and Bozeat depending on demand at around 8.15am and Lavendon at 8.30am. Tickets can be obtained via Create and Craft website at £5 Adults, £4 concessions. Travel cost will be approx £10 per person.
