If you require a license for your event, you can get more information and download the Milton Keynes Council Temporary Event Notification application form by clicking HERE. It is important that you ensure that your booking is confirmed by Lavendon Village Hall before submitting your application to Milton Keynes Council. This is because licensing legislation limits Lavendon Village Hall to hosting a maximum of 12 licensed events in any one calendar year.

 Project Diamond – The Refurbishment of Lavendon Village Hall

With the enormous help of its Village Supporters, plus the MK Community Foundation and Local Giving, as well as the Co-op Local Community Challenge Fund, Lavendon Village Hall Management Committee has raised over £180,000 to spend on Project Diamond, the refurbishment programme for Lavendon Village Hall. In the most recent phase of refurbishment, the village hall has installed a great new audio-visual system, plus new overhead projection equipment, all inclusive within the hire charges. Acoustic tiling has been added to the hall ceiling and walls to improve sound quality. Externally, new roof cladding has been added to the main roof to improve weatherproofing and thermal insulation.

In our next phase of improvements we are planning to upgrade the stage flooring and will be investigating new flooring for the main hall area. Much of this improvement work has been made possible with thanks to the MK Community Foundation which has provided the Lavendon community with generous enabling grants. For more details click here.
