The Lavendon Women’s Institute

The Lavendon WI is a branch of the Bedfordshire County Federation of Women’s Institutes

The Lavendon Branch of the WI meet on the first Monday of every month at 7.30 p.m. in the Village Hall when 40+ local ladies get together to enjoy social and informative evenings.

Guest speakers cover a diverse range of topics ranging from Covering a Cake and Novelty Decorations, Trekking in Remote New Zealand, Thai Cookery Demonstration and Tasting. There are monthly lunchtime get-togethers at local restaurants/gastro pubs, spring/summer walks, an annual summer BBQ, Christmas social evening, festive lunch and dinner and occasional theatre visits.
